Fantastic service to have as a free service attached to my smartphone ! Used use 6+Gb a month ! No I can set my cell plan for 2gb a month

Have tried about 10 times set up app on iPhone and it will not register my phone.

Have to turn off my wifi at all shaw hotspots I am a shaw customer but it tells me i am not

I wanted to like this service. Im a Shaw customer and the idea of it is great. Just doesnt work. It is so slow you can rarely use it. On top of that it is almost malicious in that it keeps popping up whenever it locks onto a Shaw wifi signal and you cant get rid of it. Since it doesnt work I end up having to turn off my wifi. I finally got So frustrated with it I deleted it.

If you are a Shaw internet subscriber, this app will show all available wi-fi hotspots in your area. Some areas have better coverage than others. Keep in mind this is not Cell coverage, a hotspot doesnt cover a large area and you have to be within 50 ft of it to get a good signal. Outside of Shaw areas, (BC, AB, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg) you are on your own, no Shaw coverage.

Ok service much needed but it is very limited in capability. Signal and speed are low For certain better than not

I find issues with any shaw on go wifi its sluggishly slow or no spots at all I even have issues with my internet at home as well Dropping the connection on a regular bases

Works great, lots of hot spots around town. I was a Telus customer before but having Shaw Open saves a lot of data when around town.

I dont have a cell phone so bringing my iPad with me and easily finding a hot spot allows me to receive and send messages. Great app. Its always nice to get a little something free in this day and age...

Im within 50 feet of three different shaw go wifi hotspots and I cant pick up any of them. I might get lucky for 30 seconds but thats it. If shaw go wifi was a person Id slap them right in the face and tell them to smarten up!!!!!
